The Moes family of Burlington first settled on the waters of Lake Ontario in the 1930’s to begin a new life in Canada and raise a family. They built a grand home and later a tudor style cottage to reflect their combined Dutch and English roots. The Dutchman’s love of water and fine European antiques helped keep them connected to their family’s rich history; items such as oil paintings, furnishings and bronze sculptures.
Storia is honoured to share these cherished objects tied to the Moes family's European and Canadian heritage.
